I Quit…

Smoking!

I haven’t smoked a cigarette for 5 days.

I smoked my last one Monday evening, before I went to bed.

It hasn’t been easy, but as I said in my plans for 2020, I am determined to succeed, and, so far, my will-power hasn’t let me down.

Keeping busy has helped, so I started my spring cleaning early! My bathroom is spotless, as is my kitchen, including the oven, the fridge-freezer, the insides of the cupboards… etc.

I’ve also cut down on the amount of coffee I drink, because having a break and sitting down with a cuppa, is one of the times I really miss having that cigarette.

I hope your plans for 2020 are going well. I’ve made a start on mine, fingers crossed I can keep it up.

I’ll keep you up to date, but now I’m off to spring clean my living room and ignore that part of me that wants a cigarette!

  1. Congratulations! When I saw your post title, I was afraid you were going to quit blogging. I’m glad that’s not the case. You could try drinking coffee at your desk while working. With your hands busy, you might not be tempted to light up. Good luck.
